Electric Fiber Cement Siding Shear with Swivel Head, Variable Speed & Continuous Cutting

Our 4.8 amp electric fiber cement siding shear features a double-cut design, allowing for the creation of a 5/16” curled thin strip during operation using the double-cut blade. This results in a fast and clean cut without generating extra waste or air-borne dust, making the cutting process smooth as silk. The shear is powerful and efficient, capable of cutting large straight lines with a nice flat cut, as well as large curves with a gentle curve.

The cutter head of the shear can swivel 360 degrees to a desired position, providing the flexibility to make comfortable cuts from any angle or direction. This allows for the cutting of straight lines, large curves, circles, and irregular shapes with ease. Adjusting the cutter head position is simple - just loosen the three hex head bolts, grip the cutter head and twist it to the desired position, and then tighten the bolts with the included 4 mm hex key.

Variable speeds (0-2700 SPM) give users the freedom to adjust cutting speeds based on their preferences. Lightly pressing the trigger allows for slower cutting, while pressing the trigger heavily results in quicker cuts. Letting go of the trigger stops the cutting process, making it flexible and easy to control cutting speeds. This feature allows for cutting specific materials in different situations.

With a maximum cutting capacity of 5/16” (8 mm) and a minimum cutting radius of 10”, this shear is also capable of cutting materials such as cement board, hardie backerboard, shower backerboard, and waterproof backerboard. It is multi-functional and meets the needs of most users. Additionally, the power cable measures 6-1/2 FT (2M), providing enough length to reach a distant socket.

For continuous cutting, the lock-on button can be utilized to lock the trigger switch ON at its fastest speed, reducing finger fatigue for users. Squeezing the trigger switch and pressing the lock-on button on the handle's side enables continuous cutting, and the button deactivates once the trigger is released. If the shear becomes jammed while cutting, it is important to release the trigger and unplug the shear immediately.
